Syllabus Changes by CHSE Prompt Update:

On 18 August, CHSE issued a notification detailing revisions to the higher secondary syllabus, affecting subjects including MIL (Odia), English Compulsory, Alternative English & MIL Sanskrit. To ensure students have up-to-date practice material that mirrors the new assessment pattern, 

English {Compulsory): A Unit namely 'Environment Education' to be included in English {Compulsory) of Class XII in place of unit /Text as detailed below. Questions will be framed from chapter as per distribution of question allotted to the unit.

  • Topic to be deleted: Unit-1 Prose : Development of Polio vaccines.. 
  • Topic to be included: Unit-1 Prose (v) : The Price of Pollution by Susan Berfield.

MIL Odia: 

  • Topic to be deleted: ଚତୁର୍ଥ ଏକକ : ଅବବୋଧ ପରୀକ୍ଷଣ 1. (ଖ ) ପଦ୍ୟାଂଶ
  • Topic to be included: (i) ଭାରତ ଭାବନା - ଭକ୍ତ କବି ମଧୁସୂଦନ ରାଓ (ii) ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ର - ପଲ୍ଲିକବି ନନ୍ଦକିଶୋର ବଳ (iii) ଗୁରୁଶିଷ୍ୟ - ସ୍ୱଭାବକବି ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେର
