The Odisha Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teacher recruitment exam is conducted by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) to recruit teachers for various subjects, including Hindi and Sanskrit, in government secondary schools across the state.

Please Note: Like last recruitment of Teacher, no preliminary examination will be conducted for Hindi Teacher, Sanskrit Teacher, Telugu Teacher, Urdu Teacher and Physical Education Teacher. They will directly appear the Main written Examination.

Key Features of Odisha LTR Main Exam for Hindi and Sanskrit Teachers:

  • Eligibility: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject (Hindi or Sanskrit) and a B.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
  • Exam Pattern: The main exam for Hindi and Sanskrit teachers consists of 150 objective-type questions (MCQs) carrying 150 marks. The questions will be based on the subject-specific syllabus (Hindi or Sanskrit) and Pedagogy & Evaluation.
  • Selection Process: Selection is based on the performance in the main exam and document verification.
