State Level NTS NMMS Examination

• ନ୍ୟାସନାଲ ମିନ୍ସ-କମ୍-ମେରିଟ୍ ସ୍କଲାରସିପ୍ (NMMS) ହେଉଛି ଭାରତ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷା ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରଦତ୍ତ ଏକ ଜାତୀୟ ସ୍ତରୀୟ ସ୍କଲାରସିପ୍ ଯୋଜନା।
• ଏହା ଆର୍ଥିକ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଦୁର୍ବଳ କିନ୍ତୁ ମେଧାବୀ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାଧ୍ୟମିକ ଏବଂ ଉଚ୍ଚ ମାଧ୍ୟମିକ ସ୍ତରରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଶିକ୍ଷା ଜାରି ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଆର୍ଥିକ ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ରଖିଛି।
• ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ, ରାଜ୍ୟ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଗବେଷଣା ଏବଂ ତାଲିମ ପରିଷଦ (SCERT) ରାଜ୍ୟ ସ୍ତରରେ NMMS ପରୀକ୍ଷା ପରିଚାଳନା କରେ।

ଓଡିଶା NMMS ର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ବୈଶିଷ୍ଟ୍ୟ:

• ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା: ସରକାରୀ, ସରକାରୀ ସହାୟତା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ, କିମ୍ବା ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ସଂସ୍ଥା ସ୍କୁଲରେ ଅଷ୍ଟମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରେ ପଢ଼ୁଥିବା ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଆବେଦନ କରିବାକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ।
• ସେମାନେ ଅତି କମରେ 55% ନମ୍ବର (ସଂରକ୍ଷିତ ବର୍ଗ ପାଇଁ ଛାଡ଼ଯୋଗ୍ୟ) ସହିତ VII ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ପାସ୍ କରିଥିବା ଏବଂ ବାର୍ଷିକ 3,50,000 ଟଙ୍କାରୁ ଅଧିକ ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କ ଆୟ ନ ଥିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ।
• ପରୀକ୍ଷା ଢାଞ୍ଚା: ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ଦୁଇଟି ପତ୍ର ଥାଏ:
  • ମାନସିକ କ୍ଷମତା ପରୀକ୍ଷା (MAT): ଯୁକ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସମାଲୋଚନାମୂଳକ ଚିନ୍ତାଧାରା ଦକ୍ଷତା ମୂଲ୍ୟାଙ୍କନ କରେ।
  • ସ୍କଲାଷ୍ଟିକ୍ ଆପ୍ଟିଚ୍ୟୁଡ୍ ପରୀକ୍ଷା (SAT): VII ଏବଂ VIII ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ପାଠ୍ୟକ୍ରମରୁ ପଦାର୍ଥ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ, ରସାୟନ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ, ଜୀବବିଜ୍ଞାନ, ଇତିହାସ, ରାଜନୀତି ବିଜ୍ଞାନ, ଭୂଗୋଳ ଏବଂ ଅର୍ଥନୀତି ଭଳି ବିଷୟଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ କଭର କରେ।
• ବୃତ୍ତି: ମନୋନୀତ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଚାରି ବର୍ଷ ପାଇଁ (ନବମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀରୁ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ) ପ୍ରତି ମାସରେ 1,000 ଟଙ୍କା ପାଇବେ, ଯାହା ସନ୍ତୋଷଜନକ ଶିକ୍ଷାଗତ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରେ।

The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a national-level scholarship scheme by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. In Odisha, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) conducts the NMMS examination at the state level.

• Eligibility: Students studying in Class VIII in government, government-aided, or local body schools are eligible to apply. They must have passed Class VII with at least 55% marks (relaxable for reserved categories) and have a parental income not exceeding Rs. 3,50,000 per annum.
• Exam Pattern: The exam consists of two papers:
